The frog has been slowly boiling for some time. It’s just boiling faster now. Sure, its only gone up 5% in the past year. But how about the past two years? Or ten? It wasn’t that long ago that a box of Cascade powder was $2.50 at most. It’s over $7 now. It’s not worth that. And wages have not caught up either. And layoffs abound.
