    @apps@toot.fedilab.app I see no problem with this approach 🤷 generally opt-in is better than opt-out, so if there&#39;s a way to make it opt-in even for people on servers that allow indexing by default that would probably decrease the backlash, but like... If we don&#39;t want our posts indexed, we can turn indexing off and it seems y&#39;all were respecting that so I don&#39;t mind

    Is there a term for the section of the web and software that is designed with the user&amp;#39;s health and well being in mind? (or at least acts like it, intent isn&amp;#39;t particularly important as long as the design ends up being healthy for the user) Websites that give specific pieces of information immediately, apps that let you quickly get to whatever you opened them for, things that don&amp;#39;t glue you to the screen

    PSA for anyone choosing plant-based fabrics: bamboo fabric is not like cotton or hemp. All of them *can* have a bunch of chemicals in them (and often do, because capitalism), but bamboo almost necessarily *must*.     LB I work with small children and imo they are already experts in all forms of sabotage, including malicious compliance; they don&amp;#39;t need any sort of education for that (in fact I&amp;#39;m pretty convinced education is meant to deskill us in sabotage because not a single adult I&amp;#39;ve met is nearly as good at it)
