    I&amp;#39;m spending roughly 10$ per meal on this vegan-protein stuff and I&amp;#39;m wondering if that&amp;#39;s reasonable or too high, it works out well for me, but I am starting to wonder if I couldn&amp;#39;t save some money making my own stuff? I&amp;#39;d have to factor in the cost of ingredients beyond just the protein ( peppers, onions, etc ) that I don&amp;#39;t even have to think about in this context, and I have a feeling it&amp;#39;d work out to almost the same cost per meal?

    I saw some before and after kitchen photos where the before was like.. a mint / pistachio color that definitely felt dated but the after was beige, like 90s computer beige and it was not any better.
