  Once upon a time Indeed used to be good. It focused on tech jobs, had a clean, usable interface and even offered a service called Indeed Prime that was a recruiting firm focused on IC tech roles. But then I went back to the site recently, and man, it’s hot garbage. The search was stupidly slow, like it was sending every keystroke to the backend in a synchronous manner. If I typed too fast it would drop characters. It was just bad.

  IBM is in the business of consulting. They don’t want their business model getting usurped. Imagine if everyone had access to a bot that could do IBMs job. I don’t like AI, but this is one reason I can see him saying that.

  So I still don’t get where it’s “forced”. I downloaded a 25H2 ISO a couple weeks ago and installed on a VM from scratch. I chose Work computer, and under other options “Domain Join”. It asked me to create a local account…. And that was it. The only thing I can think is it’s for “Home” editions, which you wouldn’t want to run anyway as that’s where all the testing crap goes.
