Soooooo somehow I haven't posted a blog since February. Welp here ya go. Today I'm reflecting on playing MMOs alone. https://www.readypixelone.com/blog/playing-alone-together

Ahead of getting back into the campaign I DM for I am going to be an NPC story. Before they left a goblin promised the party that they would come back with answers. So I am going to tell them what she's been up to since leaving. I posted the first one today and I'm pretty proud of it. :D #JustDMthings

Ugh it is so gross outside. Thank goodness I got my AC fixed.

• View post

So even with my AC on and set to 75 degrees it's still hot in my condo. Currently at 86. 😩 I have GOT to renovate this place cause there is no god damn way it's properly insulated.

So of course because I switched over to Roll20 YouTube decided that it would show me all the new stuff in Foundry v14. D'oh.

This video was randomly suggested to me on YouTube and holy hell that looks amazing. Especially when you consider it's all player built. https://youtu.be/22PFPpP2QvI?si=wntHLyAC6jm6lU-O

I might have an offer letter by next week! Just got off the phone with the recruiter and feedback from the first two interviews has been very positive. He is gonna send me some info and I'll need to provide work references, which should be no problem at all. But yeah just the feedback from today's interview and references.

Finally getting around to watching the Warcraft movie. Man this movie was bad lol.

Another interview down. One more to go. 'faints

• View post

Whew. The interview went well and I'm going to be interviewing with 2 other people in the team. From the sounds of it they are looking to get a decision made pretty quickly.

Another interview booked for tomorrow. This one is with the hiring manager, so it doesn't appear as if I'll need to meet with anyone besides that. But you never know. The role is interesting, Executive Assistant and Project Manager. A lot of the roles I've been looking into have PM responsibilities listed in the job description but never in the role itself. Hopefully this one works out cause right now my pipeline is pretty tapped out.

So I knew Blizzard would do a cash shop for housing items. It was inevitable. So my issue isn't with the shop it's with what this latest item IS in the life cycle of the feature. Housing in my opinion has not been out long enough to offer exterior builds. Offer decor items and landscaping items but a full on house build is insulting. Especially when we only have 2 options per faction. (1/2) #WorldOfWarcraft

Fuck me... I just saw something about the you tube series The Guild being 20 years old next year.

Alright I made it to 90 on my Demon Hunter. Now to get her geared up to the level of my warlock. If she can do nightmare prey then DH will be my new main. #WorldOfWarcraft

Yesterday I could barely wear a sweater. Today I got my winter jacket on with gloves. Bananas!

I made myself a quick and simple project/task tracker in Obsidian. Something super basic with each note for a project, task list within that note, tags to organize them, and a check box to mark them complete when done. Then I added a base to filter out complete vs not complete so that I can get a little dopamine hit from marking something as done. I felt like I was spiraling. This job hunt is draining and the HOA stuff on top of that I instantly felt like I had no control. This should help.

All of the Arrowvese shows are on Netflix except Arrow. Which is a real bummer cause then you miss a part of the crossovers. 😞

@nimgimli@gamepad.club oh I totally would have guessed it was Harvest Moon lol. At least I was in the right genre.
