Well yay (and heads up #FediArmy) .. thanks to #JukeboxFridayNight #AWiderWorld for sending me off to listen to sEODo Band again! It's been awhile, and I'd missed that they put out a new recording of Arirang on their recent album. So special. 260816 서도밴드 (sEODo BAND) 정규 1집 콘서트 원 | 아리랑 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxpzhsDnC6U #SeodoBand #Arirang

#AWiderWorld #JukeboxFridayNight The whole Coke Studio Pakistan Youtube channel is worth a listening adventure. But one of the most well-known tracks has gotta be on today's list! It's #AWiderWorld for #JukeboxFridayNight this week, and that made me think of sEODo BAND. They combine Korean Pansori (musical storytelling performed by a singer and drummer) with pop/jazz/soul and are sometimes referred to as the 'founders of Joseon pop.' Ganggangsullae is an ancient harvest song, usually sung around Chuseok time. It was added to UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage register in 2009. sEODo Band "Ganggangsullae" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YS2...

I started a #KPop Collection here: https://apobangpo.space/collections/116845074085407510 But I think we'll keep the Starter Pack on Fedidevs as well, as it allows for a longer list. (See: https://fedidevs.com/s/MTc5/ and pinned to my profile.) If you're not in the collection, it's probably because your acccount settings are set so you're not discoverable, or your server hasn't updated to 4.6.2 yet. Still, another fun way to help people find #KPop in t...

I didn't forget you #SundayAlbumQuilt! This week was a decidedly girly week on my playlists, which is kinda rare for me.
