    Some people get in touch with their inner child by wearing bright colours and being silly. I get in touch with mine by cutting out little paper models of my rooms and furniture to do some interior design. #saturday

    Accidently left a scarf at coffee shop some weeks back. Stooped in to ask about it. I described it, they had a photo. I said yes! that&amp;#39;s it! they looked but couldn&amp;#39;t find it. Said they&amp;#39;d ask the owners and would hold it for me. I wasn&amp;#39;t able to go back for another couple of weeks. Stopped in yesterday, again they couldn&amp;#39;t find it. Got a message from the owners today that someone else collected it &amp;quot;a couple weeks&amp;quot; ago.

    Today in adventures with the NHS: pretty sure I have strep throat. I’ve had it many times before and was recently exposed. Called my GP office who told me to go to a “prescribing pharmacy” who can give me antibiotics. The pharmacy first guidance online suggests that for strep I will need to see a GP. Let’s see which one is correct.

    Sooooooo I removed my shower screen (hate those things), but in the process I got a little overzealous and broke a tile 😬🫠 How hard is it to replace a tile? Do I have to replace the whole thing or can I just cut a tidy shape and fit a new tile in there? #diy

    Hey #bookstodon! I’m looking for short stories that would be suitable for someone with limited working memory. Fairly light subject matter, easy to follow, but not overly simplistic or predictable. Something that could be read aloud in an hour or less. Ideally not sci fi. Do you know of anything like that? Collections particularly welcome.
