“Doug McCallum gets it done”? I guess “Doug McCallum leaves it for the next guy to clean up” wouldn’t fit on the sign.

Thinking I may set up a proper photography portfolio website. I've been looking at a builder that seamlessly adds print ordering if people want prints of my stuff. Dunno if anyone will use it but I've been thinking it would be nice if I could find a way to defray my equipment costs a bit at least.

Managed to buy a Rollei HFT 150/4 Sonnar for pretty cheap and I was trying to see if it was worth adapting so I asked on a Fuji GFX group on Facebook if anyone had image samples. Someone replied "yes" and nothing else. Can... can I see them? Did you think I was just taking a survey??

Decided I should have a backpack that doesn’t scream “I am full of expensive camera gear” for schlepping around NYC. This little 21L Tarion swallowed my 50S II, both the lenses I have, my flash, spare batteries and charger, my Cotton G3 vest, and my laptop and still has a whole separated compartment left.

I forgot to change my coffee order this month from 3 bags back to 4. So I'm out of coffee and am having two Red Bulls in the morning until my next order comes. And they're delicious but maybe starting my day with 54% of my RDA of sugar isn't great?

Is the Switch 2 worth it yet? I feel like at almost $700 CAD it would need to hit pretty fucking hard to be worth it, but the new Fire Emblem game sounds pretty cool.

Dear fellow drivers of very small cars: please stop burying your car into the spot all the way up to the line. You will save your fellow drivers some frustration and also reduce your likelihood of being run into by someone who realizes too late that that "empty spot" isn't. As a more concrete suggestion, I suggest parking such that the *back* of your car is roughly in line with the cars around you, and leaving the empty space in front of your car rather than behind it....

I wish if Forza Horizon 6 were going to emphasize drifting so much (which makes sense given it's set in Japan) they would've actually made the drifting fun instead of making it a huge fucking slog.

Someone posted the whole of the Avatar Archive, which was the sum total of online furry art archives when I got into the fandom in 1994 (might be suggestive/mildly adult stuff here and there): https://avatar.furry.de/avatar_orig/pub/furry/
