    @Ciaraioch I would recommend contacting FCI to see how they can help I know many carers at this stage, but most are exclusively on FB (or the site formerly known as twitter) There may be local groups, including some run by FCI First point of contact for carers is usually the district nurse

    @Ciaraioch hi Ciara, family carers Ireland has some good support groups, but afaik, they’re all on Facebook
