You don't see it terribly often, but one of my favorite grammatical aspects that gets used online is the pluralization of certain acronyms with an 's, rather than an s or es. It's obviously incorrect, but it makes things very clear. (I can't think of any specific examples right now, but surely people will put some in replies)

RE: https://journa.host/@z_everson/117348798304836323 It's awesome to see somebody like Zach get recognized on a large media network - in this case by MS NOW.

There's this parking garage I use, which lets you scan your ticket and pay on your phone. At the end, it gives you a barcode for the scanner to scan. All's good. One day, I hadn''t managed to get my phone out the window to let it get scanned before the arm opened. Weird, must be a pretty good scanner. That happened another time or two, pretty convenient, nobody likes to have to stretch way out of their car to scan a barcode. The next week, I pulled up and before taking my p...

I did the math on shipping a 12-pack of Cactus Cooler from CA to CT, and I've decided that I'm no longer going to pursue that particular endeavor. Why the hell does Amazon not sell it?

Hi all, it's time to take the plunge. I'm looking for one of a few different roles. 1) Penetration tester (or similar offensive security engagements) I currently lead the application security program for a billion-dollar organization. My experience includes independent research that led to the discovery of dozens of vulnerabilities in more than 20 court and other government platforms. See: https://govtech.cc/ 2) Senior software developer I've been doing development in a lot...

Let's play a game of "will Jason make it home in time for #Monsterdon?". It all comes down to NYC... (Google Maps is wrong about speeds, one should go up by 10, the other down by 10 - which ones need to change, in which direction, is left as an exercise for the reader)

Anybody out there good at resumes that'd be willing to do a review? Big bonus points if you're in #cybersecurity. I hope to start putting out feelers soon. My job has effectively shifted to stuff that I am not good at, which removes all of the fun, and causes nothing but stress. I've said before that under no circumstances should I be allowed to run an appsec program - and yet here we are.
