Temporarily halting PortkeyDrop development because, very much inspired by what @FreakyFwoof@universeodon.com has done with his apps, I have begun Freshen, a Rust, GUI agnostic, auto-update crate. For the moment, what development time I take is probably going to this. https://github.com/Nick6489/freshen

I wanted to know if Claude Code could, in Rust, write a Petzold-style Notepad that has a few extra features (Markdown HTML preview tabs, a proof of concept direct screen reader abstraction). It made this today. It's bugged (You can't load MetalPad and immediately CTRL+n a second tab) and the bug will not be fixed. This is a proof of concept so I may vibe code bigger things later: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/v84e3xqn1g837oplgzyo6/MetalPad.zip?rlkey=f9n9k1s608lhqlkgvvznwhvhz&am...

Today at 2 PM EDT, 19:00 CET, I'm broadcasting on HKC Radio for one of the most special episodes of Sonic Onslaught ever, as I am finally permitted to play you the song I've been producing with Gianluca and @Derek for the band Lyriel. The song is called Echoes, it will be out March 27, and HKC Radio is the first place in the world you'll get to hear it. https://www.HKCRadio.com
