New grad students in the #Boston area, you can save significant money on groceries, by walking to #MarketBasket and #TraderJoes. For example, tomatoes today were $1.91/lb. at TJ, vs. 2.99/lb. at WFM (if they have conventional that day; or 3.99/lb. organic). Swiss Miss is 2.59 at MB, but 3.99 at Target. Premium olive oil at MB cost about half what the same SKU cost at Broadway Marketplace. Dream rice milk large size at MB cost the same as small at WFM. Etc. #CambridgeMA #SomervilleMA
