Now there’s a headline that would confound someone from the past.

#ParkRun number 2 under the belt. This one was way busier than the last but still managed a PB. https://strava.app.link/UlgPlfkmf5b

Back from Evil Dead Burn. Extremely nasty addition to the franchise, in a good way. https://boxd.it/fmCygr #Letterboxd

Nolan’s next big challenge should be to make a film with predominantly female protagonists (and dead wives don’t count). I love his films but they are all sausage parties without exception! It doesn’t even need to be 100% IMAX if that makes it too difficult. #ChristopherNolan #Nolan #TheOdyssey #Bechdel

It felt like Avengers: Doomsday was when Marvel would jump the shark, with all the RDJ back as Doom business. But they still know how to put a trailer together to get the feels going. https://youtu.be/irVNGjRFZGk?is=Yp5w4YNR-41nA9Gv #Marvel #MCU #AvengersDoomsday

Gabby Logan: What do you think of the half time show? Wayne Rooney: I thought it was crap. New fan of Rooney right here.

I got a noise warning during The Odyssey.

I know this will show me up as not being well read but the amount of times I was like Leo Pointing At The Screen GIF during The Odyssey was probably too many. For example, the little TSG Entertainment animation at the start of their films is depicting Odysseus shooting an arrow through 12 axes.

    I’m back from #TheOdyssey. It’s late now. https://boxd.it/fhXzgJ

Off to see #TheOdyssey. This doesn’t happen often at my multiplex.

A quick snap from this morning’s #CouchTo5K run. A dry barren landscape. Sweated buckets and now I’m a dry barren man.

The trouble with the heatwave hitting the same week as my week off work? Basically confined myself to the living room (the coolest room in the house) with my dog for the majority of the time. I couldn’t leave her alone for any length of time in this heat. 😞
