Having a whole "if you wish to make an apple pie you must first invent the universe" experience as wanting to do something rather mundane has now resulted in a three step deep side quest which appears to be not working out anyway

Got a Discord DM from someone in a Valorant creator's server because they do art and liked my Raora Panthera profile picture, and now we're just having a random conversation. Can't put into exact words but I love everything about this so far.

Notes for Week 30 of 2026 Another slow week spent heads down in reading and work, which I couldn't be happier about :) https://msfjarvis.dev/weeknotes/week-30-2026/ #weeknotes #Blogging

As much as Paper Rex played incredible today I have to say KRX are in a generational slump, this was probably the fastest series in a while. What a shame. #Valorant

Finished Mother of Learning yesterday and I am once again risking it all by attempting to read non-fiction. My last non-fiction book took me approximately 1.5 months to chew through, in comparison I finished 4 fantasy books that were 2x the size of that one in the span of 23 days. https://bookwyrm.social/user/msfjarvis/generatednote/12121482

I've been reading with a renewed fervor so decided to finally add a proper page on my site for it. This pulls data from my Bookwyrm account for now but I am considering what it'd take for the data to just sit on my own site. https://msfjarvis.dev/reading/

I like oxfmt but the lack of Astro support is getting really painful, I might have to replace it with Prettier and just accept the slowness to avoid having to manually reformat Astro files every time.

A recent #Bitwarden client update is causing users of Vaultwarden to no longer see any entries in browser extensions or the apps, I've confirmed this patch resolves it for me. https://github.com/dani-garcia/vaultwarden/pull/7466

We have got to stop doing domains and branding for every new high severity vulnerability, all you do is get blocked by the new domain filter in corporate VPNs

The Mother of Learning series is so good that I'm going through it a little too quickly, will definitely regret it when I end up finishing ARC 4 before this month ends lol https://bookwyrm.social/user/msfjarvis/generatednote/12059415

Was a pretty outdoorsy day with ultimately nothing to show for it 🙃 - Went to the passport office early in the day: Denied because my landlord didn't fill the rent agreement correctly - Got roped into watching a movie with friends: It's Dhamaal 4 and predictably unfunny and ass

First time I see a Zen UI release with only a single changelog line and it was to remove quotes from J K Rowling and replacing it with those from LGBTQ+ friendly authors, my respect for the author has gone up significantly https://github.com/AnthonyGress/zen_ui.koplugin/releases/tag/v2.4.3
