First purchase on #BandcampFriday - I've been saving this one on my wish list since I heard it. Maddie is so talented. How does she navigate those complicated melodies and vocal rhythms? It's astonishing. Amber - Maddie Ashman https://maddieashman.bandcamp.com/track/amber

Here's an absolutely gorgeous track from Candacraig. Apparently it will be on a forthcoming EP, so I'm eagerly awaiting that. But there are a couple of albums on their page already that I need to check out... #BandcampFriday #Music https://candacraig.bandcamp.com/track/summerfolk

I'd love to see an option in music player apps to switch between "by track" and "by album" for playlists. In album mode: * Each playable thing will be an entire album in order from start to finish. * Skipping will skip the whole album and start playing the next one. * Shuffle mode will shuffle the albums but keep the tracks in order on each album. If only this could happen! But they're not interested, are they? :(

A productive planning day and a walk around a lake. I've fixed some of the narrative structure issues by relocating some scenes as interstitial teasers. I also named the three parts, which helps to solidify their functions. Part one is finished, and is called "Parabolic Ark". It's quite hard to find names that are not spoilers, but I feel they're important. I'm the opposite of Terry Pratchett in that respect: I'm all about chapters and...

"atm" may be longer than "rn", but at least it can't be mistaken for a lower case "m". Just ask the senior management of Washbum guitars.

I wonder whether some extraordinarily clever artist could make a much more expansive version of M C Escher's "Print Gallery", in which we begin with a quark and zoom out to the entire observable universe during a 360-degree rotation, showing the whole universe as being packed into the quark... And no, I have NO idea what would be involved but I'm sure it would be a huge challenge...

Take a listen to this, and pay close attention to the vocal and all the backing vocals during the harmonies. I assume Eva was performing the BVs as well. In any case, the vibrato on all the parts was, to my ears, entirely in phase and in sync throughout. I wasn't sure that was even possible until now. What an amazing performance! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aMuZVt7lzk
