    If property legally comes with responsibilities (&amp;quot;Eigentum verpflichtet[...]&amp;quot;, Art. 14 (2) Grundgesetz), then why is there no automatism to expropriate irresponsibly handled property? E.g. if I as a landlord leave a house standing empty, why do I not automatically lose ownership over it, rendering squatting it legal? If I as a supermarket throw away edible food, why do I not lose ownership over the &amp;quot;trash&amp;quot;, rendering dumpster diving legal? These are rhetorica...
