  Oh my. Today's rabbit hole (as a result of yesterday's visit to the antique lace pillow) was pins. Anna's pillow had the old wire-head pins in 1820. So I began to wonder about when pin technology transitioned. It was about 20 years later. But it led me to this fascinating animation of a pin manufactory!   Another unexpected rock side quest today. I finally saw the #Dighton rock. Been on my bucket list for years. It's...curious. It's in a purpose build "museum" from the 1970s. I don't think the exhibit has been updated since. It needs some refreshing. But the rock is neat. And there's a phone number to call a Mass DCR person and they come over and open it up. I had the place to myself. 1/n

  People always try to discredit #solar panels with "what about when it snows in New England????" And it has been our experience (over 10 years) that the next morning most of the snow has slid off (except at the very bottom edge). Our panels have been producing today, 1 day post-#Blizzard. As usual. Here is the array on our roof today. The bottom row corresponds to the roof edge ones, and you can see which ones still have snow. #SolarPower #SolarPanels
