TIL about Jan &#39;The Best of the West&#39; Timman. A Dutch Grand Master who was around his peak, just years before I was born. A Dutch #2 of the world during a Soviet dominated chess period. He died earlier this year, aged 74. #dutch #chess #grandmaster
