Pete Hegseth has made a statement regarding his crass handling of state secrets: "I was on my way home from the bar when a charming man with an Eastern European accent approached me and asked if I could provide me any juicy details about US military operations. I hesitated at first but I saw he was offering me a swig of something quite delicious and so I immediately added him to our Very Secret WhatsApp group. Cheers!" #PeteHegseth #SignalGate

May I suggest a surefire way of avoiding jackbooted agents trawling for reasons to disappear you to El Salvador? Don't go to USA. Period. #boycottusa https://www.wired.com/story/how-to-protect-yourself-from-phone-searches-at-the-us-border/

I'm delighted that Elon will still be screwing up USA for two days a week. That's quite enough for everybody to stay motivated and focused in sending Tesla the same way as Enron and Theranos. #boycottusa #boycotttesla https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cy0x50yr46lo

Trump is looking at Crimea the same way as he's looking at Gaza, for sure. Tacky Trump resorts with tacky golf and tacky hotels. All expensive designed for those with much more money than taste. When Zelensky reiterates that Crimea is still part of Ukraine, Trump gets pissed. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c78jx68d922o

Here's a funny story that is probably of niche hilarity to me seeing as this stuff has been my job for 30 years: I used the voice recognition in my car to navigate me to the nearest Lidl. It offered me a route to Liechtenstein. It really did. I nearly pissed myself laughing. But then, I would. The satnav in Hyundai is shit, really shit. In my professional opinion. #HyundaiInster #Hyundai #firstworldproblems

I think he's just making sure he'll burn in hell. Is there any head of state LESS suitable for their position? I can't wait for the press conference where the evil Karoline "daddy-issues" Leavitt defends this outrage whilst sporting that ostentatious cross necklace that she loves so much.

@Moaske When that happens because of my home AdGuard / PiHole there are some cases where I have to switch on a VPN if I really, really, really want to access that site. In most cases I just hit the back button and carry on surfing to other sites not run by asshats.

Boy, this local Tesla owner is pretty conflicted. In 2022, Muskrat started supporting Republicans. Just after that, this person registered their #Tesla (who knows, they might even have bought it second hand). Now they put a "No Elon" sticker on their #swasticar. I presume the owner did it because the sticker has been on the car quite some time. Perhaps they're getting tired of people like me giving them Elon salutes when I see them driving their fascist status symbo...

I'm an atheist, but good choice on the new pope ๐๐๐. Excellent that he's from US of A because that's a fantastic plus to disarm the nazis in the White House. Good jo-o-o-b!!!

Public Service Announcement: If you use #paypal you may want to review the automatic payments that you've authorised. Because, damn ๐ฌ, I just removed about a dozen things that I'd forgotten I'd authorised. Quite a few companies / organisations are darned sneaky in that the ONLY way you can make a payment via PayPal is to authorise a recurring payment ๐ก.

This is so patently absurd. It's going to cost way more than $400M to strip it down to its last screw (essential for security reasons) , design and retrofit with top secret communications systems, electromagnetic pulse hardening, in-flight refuelling and defence systems. To do that is going to take more than four years when A he might be dead anyway B it goes to 'his library' C he shouldn't (!) be president any more. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cq855lx87z3...
