#phyphox conference in #Aachen Fun to hear a teacher being most proud of the students that got a null result and owned it :D Their data showed a tiny effect, but it was well within the error bars. Most students (I'd almost certainly have done this as well) would just conclude the effect size is tiny and more data is needed, but these students actually argued that the results are simply compatible with there being no causal relationship :) From Giovanni Organtini's talk

Got 346 emails because I forgot to turn off a debug setting, where it sends me an email every time someone tries the custom captcha on my contact form Someone in a bus in the #Netherlands threw sqlmap at the contact form. There is no SQL behind it, but I'm just very amused at the IP address belonging to public wifi on *a bus* :D
