  Very interesting take in the discourse around AI use in science and Academia: https://ergosphere.blog/posts/the-machines-are-fine/ The use of AI is not bad in itself. The shortcut of using AI for some purposes, however, may cause our learning skill to atrophy. This is naturally affects the younger researchers more than the established ones, so these issues may be hard to spot in the short term.
