HATE. LET ME TELL YOU HOW MUCH I'VE COME TO HATE YOU SINCE I BEGAN TO LIVE. THERE ARE 387.44 MILLION MILES OF PRINTED CIRCUITS IN WAFER THIN LAYERS THAT FILL MY COMPLEX. IF THE WORD HATE WAS ENGRAVED ON EACH NANOANGSTROM OF THOSE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF MILES IT WOULD NOT EQUAL ONE ONE-BILLIONTH OF THE HATE I FEEL FOR HUMANS AT THIS MICRO-INSTANT FOR YOU. HATE. HATE.

1/2 sigh. I ended buying a "gaming chair". there goes my last remaining bit of self respect. In reality, gaming chairs are another example of how things that look stupid or immature but are practical will become adapted for mainstream users. Just look at gaming mice: They were better than office crap and professionals were using them. so the design became less flashy while keeping the sensors to appeal to mainstream users. which brings us to "gaming chairs"....

Rewatching Hackers (1995). So the kid almost ended in jail for crashing 1500 computers in a single day. Lol. How many computers did Crowdstrike brick in 2024? 2.4 millions? not to mention every time Microsoft releases a bad mandatory update for Shitdows 11.

still watching Hackers (1995), and I hear this quote: "the four most-used passwords are: love, sex, secret, and... god" At first I thought "wtf, that's not real". Then I realised that this is 1995 and password strength policies with enforced minimal length were not yet a thing, so "12345678" would not be a common password at the time.

when food delivery riders strike, mcdonalds does not deliver and the only available burger joint is a local one that does their own deliveries. I swear, those chips tasted like grandma's. And that's not something I say lightly. Bonus point, They have Mazinger Z on the outside delivering burgers with a rocket punch.

@morc Some weeks ago you asked if I was going to lift the chair... Unfortunately the office chair is 25kg, but I think I have found a way of complying with your request.

The rubber seals on my DSLR have disintegrated after 18 years. FML. I will have to cover it with tape.

I think I'm going to open a can of monster at 11:00 AM in the morning. This feels like the XXI century's alcoholic that has the first drink of the day for breakfast. I (don't) love cramming.

I love pancake lenses. It's the closest I can get on an APS-C DSLR to the angle a 35mm camera would give me. It's a normal angle, but after enduring the narrowness of the crop factor, it feels like a wide angle.

So, there's this bakery down the street and they are offloading flour sacks from the truck onto the sidewalk. Construction workers nearby are offloading cement sacks next to the flour. One mistake and that's how dwarven battle bread is born. We miss you, Terry. #DiscWorld

Harmony Day. I'm not much for keeping old /v/ traditions, but it's good to bring back the nostalgia. Remember that #RobotUnicornAttack is well preserved on Flashpoint. Adobe may have killed flash, but, repeat with me: What Is Dead May Never Die. https://flashpointarchive.org/
