  *sigh* big dysphoria day since my beard shadow hasn't fallen out fully since my laser treatment. Had a migraine but had to go shopping. Got sir'd several times and called a man at Aldis. Maybe I go back to bed.

  @purplerabbit My doctor and I talked about options, she agreed that gel is more efficient, but it comes with drawbacks like having to worry about sweat or water making the patches fall off, and a literal shortage of it in the US in general. She has a few other transfem patients and they all have had to swap to either pills or injections if they were on the gel patches due to inability to acquire them.

  I went to Aldis today, and on my way out this older dude is fighting with a cart. He doesn't understand how the coin lock works, so I stop for a sec to help him out. And as he starts pulling it away, he goes "Thank God for women, I'll tell ya. A man would have walked on by and laughed at me."   Really glad I have a therapist appointment coming up this week. Annoyed that I have to re-do intake with her because she moved practices, but this last weekend has given me a LOT to think about w/r/t gender presentation and internalized shit.
