I am so sick of the OLD Men who are literally setting the World on fire. I want to see: Putin Gone, Trump Gone, Netanyahu Gone, (and anyone else of their ilk.. All basically for their own vanity, they are killing people some quickly, they are killing our Plant (slightly more slowly than the people they are killing, but killing it they are. For every endeavour to do something about Climate Change these disgusting half-wit men are sabotaging those efforts. If political systems allow them to get a...

I see that Ann Widdecombe has died, at 78. It's my birthday next Wednesday and I will (astonishingly) be 78. However I do hope that when I shuffle off this mortal coil, the reaction won't be that there is one bit of cultural poison gone. #Fediverse #Mastodon

I really loathed Ann Widdecombe, her awful politics, her obvious lack of empathy etc, but I was deeply shocked yesterday to learn that she was murdered. That is appalling and not what I want for anyone or this country. #Fediverse #mastodon

Sat on the swinging hammock in the garden last evening as dusk descended, lovely to watch each solar light light up as it turned the garden into a magical oasis. #Fediverse #mastodon

Big fire yesterday evening at Industrial site on edge of Northampton from a recycling business, black smoke spread miles over villages as well as the town. Sore eyes this morning, to add to the sore throat so I guess the air is a bit suspect. #Fediverse #mastodon

From what I've seen of the UK local election results so far I'm furious at Labour for being so blind as they have been therefore letting in the appalling Reform Company in so many areas. I'm not too happy with those who voted for Reform either but I figure Karma will deal with that when reform does its thing locally as it surely will. #Fediverse #Mastodon #localelections

I saw the term ' Ballroom Republicans' for the first time this morning. Sometimes a word or phrase comes along that is just so spot on. I suspect that phrase is going to find some considerable purchase. #Ballroomrepublicans #Mastodon #Fediverse

And after an overcast Bank Holiday day and late afternoon my mood takes a sudden deep dive, the sun comes out as it falls into it's setting. #Fediverse #Mastodon

https://www.lindasgoluppi.com/paintings/tractus-daydreaming-paintings Tractus Daydreaming, akin to the Tractus series, merges painting and drawing techniques. The work is built from repeated action under constraint, where constraint is not fixed or external, but actively encountered through movement itself, in the resistance of the surface, in uneven conditions beneath the canvas, and in the sudden interruptions caused by contact with boundaries and edges. It unfolds as a temporal event, not...

I recall 'Dependency Theory,' from from roughly the 1960s through the 1970s, with it's roots going back to 1940s–1950s. It's odd how that seems to have gone so silent in today's arguments about migration. #Fediverse #Mastodon
