America is the only society I know of that boasts of open elections but has no collective curiosity about who counts the votes or how it’s done. I’m not saying fair elections would help; but I still get triggered easily by the subject. I would like to think future historians will be as unkind to the vote pushers, as they will be to the fascists

Silly people here having arguments like they exist in a democracy that will change their lives for the better if only smart choices were made.

I agree, there are a few sequels I liked on their own merits. But the majority of the ones are just as you said. That said, I have a weakness for space ship drama. Can’t be too much of that. So some sequels really don’t need much of a plot, rhyme or reason. I’ll spend my money on them.

Hah I learned c++ in the 90s and never felt shame for messing up an allocation. I think when this happens, I have a puddle of memory, the spilled ram “lubricates” the pointers, which often rub against each other. The wasted memory acts like oil does to a rusted chain. It’s helping push the program through the finish line. Yes, I am having fun here

Most people who read and write the comments here are frustrated because there is no known mechanism to have large scale change in the USA. Only minor victories that are easily lost to time.
