If one wants to support emoji reactions in their software, go look at how people are actually using them in everyday life. There are a totally different form of communication then a like. You can look at a popular user on Misskey to see how they are being used in reality

    If you search the names of the #prairieland people the first results are awful mugshots. Honestly they all need the #luigi treatment. There needs to be massive amounts of fan art made with their faces. This is one of the only routes they might get their freedom back and not live out the rest of their lives behind bars. Public pressure works.
