Meanwhile, on the wider world of grids, it seems there’s a general lessening of community engagement. The primacy of mesh in #SecondLife has definitely put a dent in my prim-based building, but there’s still a small(er) market for it. STEAM Hunt XX: The Sorting and The Culling The #SecondLife STEAM hunt is on, alongside a bunch of other springtime hunts. So after about a week, I started my speedrun. One of the first gifts I found was this cute robot-penguin dance floor that rotates. It looks nice up in the Secret Garden platform for now. Logged in to #SecondLife to putter with prims and try to make sense of my inventory, as a distraction from today’s horror. I’ve been offline for months as the typist had a stroke in May, and still has hand issues. Puttering seems to be in my future. May update the blog tomorrow.

The big parcel next to mine changed hands again, and a large modern rental house suddenly loomed over my little virtual farm in #SecondLife. Realized tonight that the parcel it was on was set for sale, and I had enough group holdings after upgrading 3 alts to swing it. Now I have the fun of virtual landscaping, plenty of prims to work with, and several fun virtual buildings I haven’t been able to play with for a while.
