  @BBCRD@social.bbc that’s interesting, I wonder how the public would “on-board” to such a system; would each c2pa app come pre-loaded with a set of “trusted” publishers public keys? Is the root of all this trust going to be the certificate authorities?

  @NoraReed@mastodon.social federation is difficult, I find myself frequently trying to see replies and opening the post in the original server to see them, but I also have many fewer people in my social graph so that might be less of an issue for you. Otherwise be aware that you can grab any custom emoji from any server you federate with, like these :american_megatrans: :bois: :hartfordathletic: :sus: :ct:
