Hey, we are low on SNAP and we live more than 20 miles of driving from the nearest SNAP EBT compatible store. We need to get a few top up items without having to drive that far, from a more local store, and have some money left for car charging. Can anyone offer some $$$? Some of this is also for essential saline electrolyte drinks to treat @Kuniti_shino@pounced-on.me 's POTS, a syndrome in which the body gets rid of electrolytes it needs to keep and so needs them topping up pretty much ever...

Tips for a close friend dealing with being the defendant in a Boulder county CO Driving Without Insurance court case, where they were living in vehicles, had no ability to renew their driving license due to an endlessly bureaucratically pending USCIS green card renewal, and thus no ability to renew car insurance or expired registration. They were kicked out of every spot near public transit for the crime of existing near Karens. So driving became even more obligatory for obtaining the basic need...

Happy Non-binary people's day! Here's our enby Atha last year working on a set of non-standard fog lights on the bumper of a Nissan Leaf during what can best be described as a mild sandstorm in a parking lot in Nebraska.

Atha can really get into nerding out about the @vulpinelabs Geneticiser and GUESS systems when you let hir. Shi spontaneously used a whiteboard to explain biological concepts today. Twice.

The horrors persist, but so do we. Someone who lives in a makeshift forest shelter wants to join us in the bus soon. The Vulpibus now has an air conditioning unit fitted. We have installed a longer 4G antenna. We almost had somewhere to go and park a while, but the landowner backed out. Again. And the convoy we are trying to form is moving along. So the bus is still in need of a diesel refueling, and the current prices make that a matter of about $400. Links below. We would really love to co...

Tonight @Kuniti_shino needs to raise $20-$30 to cover EV charging so mizu can go get the SNAP/EBT card from an annoyingly distant county office (counties in this area are pooling services in adjacent counties sometimes). The Vulpibus also needs fuel, around $180 worth. The most recent money went to groceries, props for the rest of the solar panels, electronics parts cleaner fluid for the bus engine connections and a sillcock key for ease of water access in towns and cities. Please send funds to...

One of the most important words to describe what we aspire for in our freedoms is uncontainability. It should be impossible to impose any societal assumptions or containments on a given individual without their own approval, except in cases of verifiable disease transmissibility, such as prevention of the spread of a pandemic until the risk of catching it is itself brought down e.g. by vaccination. The containments that society tends to impose on people include such things as social expectation...

Painful reminder: In war, there is nowhere safe or legal to reside or be. There is no stability in the face of an army. What you bought, fought legal battles for, inherited, cared about, considered your home, wanted to enjoy forever, cannot be yours now as it is trampled under the boots and machinations of uncaring "leaders" in their corrupt endgames. All you are to them, is collateral. At most, some sort of noisy inconvenience, in the way only briefly. They don't care...

Sure, you can invest in stock markets and gamble on number go up. But have you tried sending money to someone who actually needs it instead? * The benefits are more guaranteed, palpable and communicated more effectively. * You're not using that money to support a system that self-worsens and enshittifies life for all of us * The people you help may do something that helps you more than that gamble ever could have anyway. #MUTUALAID rocks!
