Seriously? Are you fucking kidding me?

Taught #Battletech Alpha Strike to one more person today. My LGS owner friend finally learned the game and instantly fell in love with it. My plan to grow a local Battletech community is proceeding nicely... @nerdlings

Oh dammit. I wasn't totally sold on Trench Crusade until that damn Tabletop Minions video. 😩

Huh. I just learned, realized through conversing with my friend rather, that I didn't start playing 40k in 4th. It was 3rd. By about a year apparently.. huh.

So #Fediverse, I've got an issue. I'm not sure if it's a #Mastodon thing, or if it's unique to the Moshidon Android app. But, I *want* push notifications. I know it (at least my app) needs a third party app. The new problem with that is that the app giving the notifications only tells me I have a notification. Not what it is, not who did it or what they said or did, just "here's a notification that you have a notification". Is there a M...

Going to the Greyhound bus station shortly. Gonna go down and see dad finally. I'll be there for a week visiting other nearby family as well. Not gonna have time to hobby for that week though.

Curious.. Which battlemech would *you* pilot, irl? The rifleman is my choice. (Even if the joke is funny to only myself, it's still a cool af mech) #Battletech #Nerdlings

@mr_whateley @warhammercommunity Even after all that, it's still a lot more fun than 40k's version: Combat Patrol. 😅

Just came back from a social gathering. Thought I was going to paint. Can't. I'm thoroughly fried. Maybe a round of Slay the Spire, followed by a round of Yugioh Master Duel (I like the solo story quests), and then finish off with some Warframe. #RememberToRechargeYourBatteries #DrinkWater #MentalHealthMaintanenceIsImportant #ThisHashtagIsMeaningless #OkayIllStopNow

So, I have #KingdomDeathMonster, and I enjoy playing it a lot. I only have the Core 1.5 box. If I started a new game, would it be worth it for me to document my playthrough on the blog? Not sure that's still a thing people enjoy.. @nerdlings #Nerdlings #Tabletop #BoardGames

Been a while since I had a #blog. Kinda fell off after life and my "brain shit" distracted me. But, I've started a new one. It's empty right now, but after I finish adulting, I'll throw something up. https://counterspell.bearblog.dev/ #nerdlings @nerdlings

Finally got to write my #WIPWednesday entry. Edit: and fixed the links... Please leave comments here if you have anything you'd like to discuss. The blog platform doesn't have a comment system (given spam these days, that's probably not a bad idea). This is for the #Nerdlings and #WarhammerCommunity. Thank you for being a source of joy for me. https://counterspell.bearblog.dev/wip-wednesday/ @nerdlings @warhammercommunity

So, now that sculpting #miniatures has effectively moved to #3d formats and everyone seems to be #3dPrinting them now, are metal minis still being made? Is anyone using this 3d technology to, in the end, make metal minis at all? Or is there a feasibility aspect I'm not taking into account? I ask because, well, I kinda hate resin. I'll deal with plastic, but I very much prefer something more.. permanent? If any @nerdlings or @warhammercommunity friends would enlighten me, that&...
