    The moment anyone tries to make a legal claim that LLMs are sentient beings, we need to demand that they make the full code public so that they aren&amp;#39;t holding a living being in slavery, and stop charging for access to an enslaved consciousness. They&amp;#39;ll still be wrong, but that whole argument needs to be shot down before they start claiming they should be subsidized for keeping their energy-wasting monolith &amp;quot;alive&amp;quot;.
