The new #Fedra updates are just amazing, what can I say.

What in the absolute shit is home screen editing on iOS 27?

RE: https://tweesecake.social/@ednun_p/117336903734713995 The iOS app is compatible, but will receive some enhancements regarding this next week.

Goalball matchday on saturday. So traveling the entire weekend. Maybe a good oportunity to take a little break, feeling kinda overwealmed by all kinds of random stuff. But well, what do I know. Will probably get bored in the train and come back here anyways. But really about time I clean up my focus modes so not everything reaches me all time and so on.

RE: https://leaseysocial.com/@HartgenConsultancy/117318579195722691 Ouch. I thought this thing was actually going to be useful. Now we make it overpriced, have a huge af page telling us how amazing it is, but no idea how it actually works, e.g., am I required to use it with Jaws or is it also available with NVDA etc? Unfortunate.

Why the heck are we obsessed with audio platforms now.

RE: https://mastodon.online/@9to5Mac/117292697966143501 Can you imagine? We used to have iPhones with 8 GB of storage. Seems like efficiency has gone down the drain at this point. And if you can't fill your storage, Apple will do it for you.

Tailscale , Poor coverage during use , 77 % Button. During 12 hours in the background, with no exit node😒🙄

iOS image descriptions use basic screenshots, therefore any app can restrict me from getting an image description, such as WhatsApp does on their profile pictures. This is not a WhatsApp thing to fix. This is on Apple. I should have the right to save what is on my screen at any time.

Listening to music with my 850€ system is certainly a very new experience I genuely enjoy. And I'm surprised I haven't been thrown out the house yet, lol.

Nice, closed my home TL in Fedra and lost my position...

@mrkrabs@someplace.social Especially these days, when I can just buy what I would like to have, I don't see why I should like, wait until christmas just for someone else to buy the expensive thing and me to unwrap it? Like sure, when I was younger it had its vibe. But when it was nice stuff like the first tech I knew it before anyways. So idk indeed. I think it's cool as a child but as adults, meh. But that's even for birthday by now. Of course, some people still gift me nice stuff,...

Just saw a post that someone is looking for an alternative to Home Assistant simply because they "accept AI contributions". This is getting ridiculous.

And now, at 2AM, I should maybe go to bed, because in 4 hours, I'll have to get ready for office. FML, I should really just call doctor holliday for a day off. I'm to tired.

Just activated reporting Font attributes in #NVDASR because I needed to hear which text in an HTML file was underlined. Sad that this HTML file is converted from markdown a LLM wrote, which thought it was necessary to **put** **little** **annoying** stars around every 3rd word, so now I hear bold, no bold, bold, no bold, all few seconds. Yippi ya yeah!

Learning of today, my colegues are snitches and for the 1st time in a long while I feel like crying again. FML!

How ironic. My parents were just against getting a fiber connection a few months ago—too expensive, and because of the construction work and all that. But now we're getting a fucking new heater for thousands, where they have to drill from the basement all the way to the top of the house. This is going to be interesting for sure... I mean, of course I understand that a heater is something different from internet, but yeah, we seem to have A) different priorities, and B) just invalidate our...

And once again, either I sleep, or I live. Already down to 2 hours of sleep I've lost to night because the day is not enough to recover from you know, 9 hours of work. And tomorrow I'll get up at 6 AM be super tired, nto concentrated, and the circle continues.

Isn't it ridiculous that I can simply ask Gemini for a random service, 9 esim in my case, and it does actually spit out valid discount counts which in this case gave me 7€ off my order?

And the tickets for next year Open Beatz are ordered. I'm locked in now XD. But tbh, it feels kinda nice to know I'll be going there again. I always like to have something to look forward to.

RE: https://tweesecake.social/@sjtaylor/116997565059893580 This is really cool from what I can see so far. Time to ditch that mehish Add On which had nothing to search in my NVDA anyway.

RE: https://mastodon.social/@anon_opin/116976471591762361 And ask them if they're ok with you using it. Just because you hear someone using a nick name does not permit you to use it. And danm, if you must use it when writing, spell it correct or just use the normal name.

If any kind of media I post fails to send because of whatever limitations, then my Mastodon server should just compress it down to whatever the heck it thinks is right and post it. But if I have to spend 20 minutes hammering 50 FFmpeg commands and playing guessing games about why the fuck my Mastodon server can't process the entity I shoved up its wires, I might just not want to use it at all.

Really impressed by how well the iPhone microphones cope with loud music at this point. I once took my Google Pixel 9 Pro to a concert, and it just crackled throughout the entire recording. But whatever the iPhone did, it did it right. So now I'm able to share some nice recordings from the first evening of the techno festival I'm at this weekend. Let me tell you, it was amazing. So, which of my fellow Germans knows this song?
