As part of the MyHealth@MyHands project, we are building and testing app functionalities that helps people remembering, monitoring and understanding their medications. We are building visual prototypes that show how such an app could look like, how one would use it, and how it talks to its users. So, right now we're looking for people that take medication that are up for a video interview where we watch you interact with the demo prototype. Interested? Apply here: https://tally.so/r/A7kVYN...

On the weekend, I've finished the board, box and first set of miniatures for #MotleyCrews . They are not in uniforms, but I made sure to have them sort of "colour-schemed", so there are some visual aid to recognise the teams. Now I just need to actually play it :) #miniaturepainting #tabletopgames

does anyone know how to do responsible disclosure to Mango3D, ideally in a way that bypasses their normal support? I... err.. have found a stupidly wide open stupid vulnerability. #3DPrinting #security

finally a new blogpost. In which I muse about my homebrew roleplaying game, nearly a year after I called it "done". Hah. https://ghost.orkpiraten.de/raiders-of-arismyth-another-year-later/ #penandpaper #homebrew #RaidersOfArismyth

while the girlfriend is hogging the 3D printer to commit crimes against music (so far, there are at least half a dozen things that do doot in a variety of doots), I have started to paint miniatures with cheap acrylic markers instead of specialised paints and sable brushes. I think that is the right medium for this kind of miniature shitposting...

I have the odd idea of creating a dedicated "video conference thing on wheels". Basically a solid stand on coaster wheels that can be easily moved around, has a power bank there, a dedicated computer to run Teams, Zoom, etc. and a teleprompter camera/monitor setup that can easily be height-adjusted. That way all the videoconferencing will be self-contained, and can be adjusted on the fly to be used anywhere in the office room or even the whole flat. I think I have all the necessary c...

Are any #Burners who were Nomads at #Nowhere Festival around who still have a copy of the Nomad Guide that you can share with me? I recall that document to be an excellent source for deescalation and respectful moderation/helping on large events, and would love to crib from there for a roleplaying game convention. #fedihelp #followerpower

#IchBinAlt #Extrabreit4Ever

It is done! All three Miscast Swordmaster and the Permadeth one are painted up. For this set, I put myself up for a challenge: It's the first time I actually used oil paints for miniatures, and to make things more interesting, I relied on the Zorn palette, using only Burnt Umber, Red, Black, and White, mixing all the other shades from those four tubes. I experimented with different ways to thin the paints (lighter liquid ending up being a huge boon: It dries a lot faster), how to mix thin...

I'm not usually posting here with my work-related hat on, but today is an exception: There's this project I'm working on, which aims to make personal health data accessible and useable for all european citizens, as part of the MyHealth@EU initiative. And because I'm a product person, I'm asking people what their needs are. So, I'd be very happy and grateful if you could take about 2 to 5 minutes of your time and answer this survey here: https://survey.charite.de/myhmyh/...

Yay. Liegt jetzt als nächstes im Bücherstapel :)
