Our washer/dryer was showing an error message after running. The error message describes a drain error. It's being shown on a seven-segment LCD display. There's a different error message that shows as “dE” that indicates a door error. Is the error code for the drain error "OE" or "DE”?

Sometimes you have to blog a little bit of code so that future you will remember it, or be able to find it again. http://trainedmonkey.com/2026/09/21/compact_table_names_with_django_rapid

We made this chocolate cake the other day and it is probably one of the best chocolate cakes I’ve ever had. It is flourless — and made with black beans. Absolutely bonkers how good it is. So moist. https://www.thepancakeprincess.com/flourless-black-bean-chocolate-cake-gluten-free/

It's too bad computer prices have gotten stupid and I don't have spare cash. It would be really nice to get something to do local development on that is in-between my Raspberry Pi 4 and the Dell PowerEdge T30 under my desk. (I should really try to sell that T30.)

RE: https://cosocial.ca/@emd/117003166201654599 Not really my community (although it almost was), but the Laravel leadership always gave me car-dealership-owner vibes, so an embrace of DHH is not surprising.

Trying to come up with side hustle that I could work 10-12/hours month to pay for medical bills and the occasional Dodgers tickets. I guess here's an Upwork profile for now. https://www.upwork.com/freelancers/~01be060a532ece41c9

I came to this very late for someone who moved to #DTLA over 20 years ago in part due to Grand Central Market, but the tacos at Tacos Tumbras a Tomas are an incredible value. $5 for a taco that is a meal by itself. https://grandcentralmarket.com/vendor/tacos-tumbras-a-tomas/

Someone used my Linode referral code to sign up, which means I got a $25 credit, which would have been nice if I hadn't stopped using Linode two years ago.

RE: https://social.vivaldi.net/@lproven/116596168533713373 I think about this sort of thing all the time, particularly in wondering about how small of a Linux environment I could put together. I am sure most of that is just chasing old highs. But I have no space in my life for computer-related hobbies right now.

We just opened the job listing for another mid/sr. full-stack engineer at the startup where I'm the director of engineering. It's a hybrid position, so you'll need to be able to come into the office in Santa Monica at least three days per week. Tech stack is Next.js and Python/Django. https://jobs.lever.co/athletetoathlete/f4e4d6e8-acbb-45e7-94bb-5d9bedbc565d #GetFediHired
