The first orbital racing game Slingshot Speeders now has cosmetics and an extreme difficulty rotating map and refueling system It’s free to play in browser without an account. Feel free to ask me any questions, happy to talk about it! The next update will be the Season Zero which won’t be wiped. I plan on creating many more maps through the in-game map making system once is fully live to ensure there’s plenty of challenges along with weeklies. slingshotspeeders.com/changelog

Interesting, I tried it with DeepSeek and got an incorrect response from the direct model without thinking, but then got the correct response with thinking. I'm in Chicago, I just recently put in my 2 weeks at work because I was given additional responsibilities with no raise in pay. I told them I expected $25 an hour up from $19.50 an hour because I would effectively be taking on the responsibilities of an entire other role in the company which was being integrated into my workflow. They couldn't do it. So now I'm looking for a job that actually pays $25 now because that's the bare minimum for a living wage today.

The mylar I'm going to place on each shelf to ensure absolutely no light from below penetrates through the bottom of the trays which I've noticed confuses the sprouts direction of growth. I am using these which seemed really cheap for what I need, and allow for some automation. They are on th...

I solved three issues with the previous setup. One was not enough space for two trays on each shelf slightly overlapped on the previous shelf, solved by having a slightly wider shelf. Two was a single light in the center causing bending during growth, solved by putting two on each shelf. Three was light bleed beneath the trays which was confusing the sprouts at early germination stage, many were going down towards the light bleeding from underneath, solved with mylar. Downsides is I only have 4...

I checked again today, reservoir became basic again so added even more pH down. This is why you soak the rock wool to neutralize, because it's very basic and raises the pH drastically.
