I work in a used books shop and read mostly Science fiction and fantasy, but not exclusively.
I game a bit, but wouldn't call myself a gamer. I've been thinking about using a self hosted private book tracking tool in the vein of Goodreads and StoryGraph, and am looking for recommendations and pros/cons of the apps out there. I've heard about BookLogr, Bibliotheca, and Jelu. Import from StoryGraph would be great and syncing with KoReader would be useful. I know I can probably set something up with Calibre, even for physical books. @bookstodon@fedigroups.social #GoodReads #StoryGraph #Jelu #BookLgr #Bibliotecha #SelfHosting

@TarkabarkaHolgy@ohai.social This is the first I heard of it, so no real thoughts yet. Looks a little too gamified for my tastes, with badges and quests and whatnot. But I like that they seem to focus more on discussing than on tracking stats. Guess I'll sign up and give it a try. I've been using Storygraph for a few years, but only for tracking.

@rperezrosario when we get to the Mint Debian match, I'll be at a loss. I use both. Maybe LMDE could be a compromise winner.
