    @adastra1930@mastodon.social We just bought a house and on the disclosure it stipulated that the current owner would take the doorbell. I thought it strange and asked the agent. Turns out they have a Ring video doorbell and my response was &quot;Good riddance!&quot; I&#39;ve never had a cloud connected home security device and never will.

    A thread: I doubt myself a lot. I never finished university and I am informally educated by peers who helped me along the way. From electrical to electronics to network tech and network admin. Finally moving to sysadmin and automation to the point where I could do software development full time. 1/5

    I wrote a new blog post about using #Traefik and #Podman together for declarative reverse proxy management on containerized workloads. https://blog.devenphillips.dev/posts/getting-started-with-traefik-and-podman.html It&amp;#39;s a really good solution for my #selfhost needs. It makes it simple for me to add #LetsEncrypt certificates for all of my workloads.
