  I read a few commentaries of each episode of #StrangeNewWorlds and check out the hashtag here on Fridays. Gotta say, the gulf between expert reviews and fan reviews feels like it’s never been larger - regular watchers are delighted with the stories while professionals are nearing hate watch territory with some saying they may quit Trek all together if the show keeps up like this.   I just fit the Grinch quilted coat and it wraps around me twice!   Sometimes I design a quilt because I want to make it; sometimes I design a quilt because the idea won’t leave me be unless I put it down on paper. It’s usually 50/50 whether those end up sewn For the latter ones, I’ll shop my stash/check online just because I enjoy fabric shopping itself, see if anything bumps the idea up to ‘must make’ For the idea on the left I found the fabric on the right - on sale! - and now the quilt I’m calling Deck the Nazis is at the top of my to-do list 😂 #Quilting
