    What does one have to do to live more than a hundred years? It turns out being poor and sick helps. At least if one believes census data.     @predict_addict@sigmoid.social it&amp;#39;s even worse. If you have just correlations the distribution will converge towards a gaussian if your portfolio is just large enough, and things are reasonably little correlated. But the thing is that returns may even be sampled from fat tailed distributions. Very extreme values are more likely than under a normal distribution. Then you get the case that whatever it converges to is actually a Levy stable distribution, itself with power law tails.

    @Prucker wenn ich mich richtig erinnere war das schon das letzte Mal so als der aktuelle Mindestlohn ausgehandelt wurde. An die EU Richtlinie hat sich damals auch niemand gebunden gefühlt. Hilft auch nicht dass diese 60% vom Durchschnittslohn nur ein Vorschlag der EU ist. Ein anderes Beispiel war 50% vom Median. Da gibt&amp;#39;s noch viele Möglichkeiten sich eine Kennzahl rauszusuchen um die benötigte Lohnerhöhung zu vermeiden.
