Here’s some fresh new Threads bastardary I’ve just discovered The iOS app won’t let you attach photos if you disallow Photos permission. If you give it limited access, it only lets you attach the selected photos If you give it permission for all photos though… it shows the system photo picker, which requires no permissions at all. So what are they using the permission for??? I’m being serious when I say this should get them kicked off the App Store. What the fuck???

PSA for iOS devs: A lot of files your app makes don't need to be backed up to iCloud. Make sure you set this flag, you can save your users a lot of space https://developer.apple.com/documentation/foundation/urlresourcevalues/isexcludedfrombackup

@tvforecastapp Not sure if it’s an app issue or a data provider issue, but the latest seasons of Abbott Elementary, For All Mankind, and Jet Lag are all not showing in the Your Progress section for me. I have unwatched episodes of all of them and they’re still showing up in the Up To Date section down below

Question for the runners out there: What do you do with your phone? The arm straps look _fine_ but kinda meh, and belts look nice but also too bulky for just the phone Is there anything better out there that I'm missing?

I dunno about the AI use case here, but just a camera that you don’t need to go digging for and that connects to your watch would be pretty sweet Sure would be nice to them in a glasses form factor though… https://www.macrumors.com/2026/04/03/breakthrough-new-iphone-accessory/

Am I missing something, or does SwiftUI have no way to detect whether a view needs a dismiss button? i.e. just tell me if there is a system back button shown
