  So had an awkward poly/queer/autistic moment last week. Chatting with a hot enby, they show me a photi of them and their partner dressed for Ren Faire. Partner made his whole outfit, all leatherwork. It was amazing. I said, "OMG is he available?" They turn to me and say, "yeah." "Oh," I say. Then partner arrives. I clam up.

  August has been absolutely dreadful for my migraines and joint pain. Good riddance. It still didn't stop me from enjoying myself as much as possible. We do shit. With crutches, braces, compression garments, and emergency rescue meds as needed.

  I kinda slept through the whole Critical Role rise and continued popularity. They are evvvverywhere. And honestly, I don't feel any FOMO about it. I find them overall loud, obnoxious, and generally too much. I know and respect that they are all talented people. They're just not for me. And that's okay.

  I just finished reading Long Island Girls by Gabrielle Korn, which I started late last night. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/240019834-long-island-girls Overall, I think it's very well written, and tugs the heart strings.   So question for the #ActuallyAutistic adult crowd, particularly those with selective mutism and/or social anxiety. I'm looking for communication cards to help me in new social situations where I may not know anybody or what to expect.   Hey #Infosec crowd: I'm looking to snoop on all network traffic coming to and from a device on my local LAN. It's not open source, unfortunately, and I'm trying to troubleshoot a syncing issue. I have the IP and MAC address for the device. I know that the device only powers on the wifi as needed. But I'm a bit out of my depth on this. Thanks in advance! :boost_requested:
