My work place deemed that if you weren&#39;t back by 3pm, that you&#39;d taken the afternoon off. On the grounds you&#39;d do more damage than good. Also, the Friday/last work day before long weekends, especially Christmas and Easter, there was a change moratorium.

It&#39;s called Neoliberal economics because it&#39;s a Friedmanesque propaganda rebranding of the discredited Liberal economics that produced the Great Depression.
