Did you know you can use Delta Chat for customer support too? Who says WhatsApp business is the only instant messaging channel for your online presence? Sometimes a potential client may prefer not to disclose a contact number when making an inquiry for a purchase. This morning the first client made contact, preferring DC to emailing, and the lead was soon converted to a sale. The first sale made using Delta Chat 🎉 🎉 🎉 #deltachat #chat #whatsapp @delta #wordpress #woocommerce

Monday Pangolin stack upgrades: Pangolin v. 1.17.0 ✅ Gerbil v. 1.3.1 ✅ Traefik v. 3.6.12 ✅ Badger v. 1.4.0 ✅ Newt v. 1.11.0 ✅ And, of course, being Pangolin in front of most of my web apps including this instance of Mastodon... Everything went fine. Happy Bank Holiday Monday everyone 🎉 🎉 Time to get some sunshine in the garden 😎 #selfhosted #homelab #pangolin #gerbil #traefik #badger #newt @homelab

And.. Before heading for some sunshine in the garden 😎, I couldn't help another try at flashing this old, original firmware-obsolete Asus RT-AC56U router with OpenWRT. I succeeded after countless failed attempts. 5Ghz WiFi not working, but can live with it. Mainly flashed cos it supports WireGuard compared to newer router with OpenVPN. Will probably set it up as main router, and set the other as bridge to mantain 5Ghz WiFi connectivity. #openwrt #Asus #router #WireGuard #homelab @home...

People in UK should stop paying TV licence which only funds the BBC and their own pro-Israel-US narrative. They do make it difficult for you to do so, and may require a phone conversation with an operator who will try to corner you whatever you say. Just prepare yourself for 5 minutes and make sure you never admit watching live TV, being on terrestrial, satellite, or even streaming. No live TV = No TV licence. Say no to fund these gov scumbags. https://www.tvlicensing.co.uk/check-if-you-ne...

Just read on a toot about Omnisearch, "A modern lightweight metasearch engine with a clean design written in C." and deployed an instance. Feel free to use test it and send feedback to the developer. Noticed an abnormal number of requests on this instance from Singapore in Pangolin analytics, a country not really in my map of connections. 🇸🇬 Singapore 36% 🇬🇧 United Kingdom 23% 🇩🇪 Germany 11% 🇺🇸 United States 11% Logs revealed continuos requests on specific endpoints. So.. just set a rule to block any requests from Singapore and.. problem sorted. Sorry if there was any genuine follower down there. #mastodon #pangolin #selfhosted #homelab @homelab

Working on re-importing my life-long blog back to WordPress from Ghost, after finding out the latter doesn't really go hand in hand with Pangolin tunneling for Activity Pub federation. Been on WordPress since 2008 so feels like dumping your new flame and go back to your first love ❤️ #WordPress #ghost #Pangolin #activitypub #Federation #selfhost #homelab @homelab

Upgraded Mautic v6.x to v7.01 ✅ Mautic 7.xx required PHP 8.2 to 8.4 but running it inside a Proxmox LXC on Ubuntu 22.04 was not longer ideal. So, just embraced in a LXC OS upgrade to Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, then upgraded and switched to PHP 8.3, then run the Mautic upgrade. As usual, like after every other major upgrade, blank screen till I run (twice) php bin/console cache:clear RESULT!!
