The new #Sgàile album is very good. Nice bit of Scottish prog/post metal. https://sgaile.bandcamp.com/album/onwards-to-embrace-the-echo #bandcampfriday

Hmm... Peter Gabriel's new album is up for pre-order, a day before #bandcampfriday Well, that's that sorted. https://petergabriel.bandcamp.com/album/o-i #music #petergabriel

One thing I really dislike about #MacOS is that removing apps continues to be a crapshoot. Deleting them from the Applications folder still leaves traces of them elsewhere on the disk. Any good tools out there that aren't a subscription that you can recommend?

  The new #stevenwilson track is umm…fine I guess. Music’s fine, vocals/lyrics, not so much. https://musiccloud.io/XKKujMZa #music

Last night, when I should have been asleep (thanks, insomnia), I had an idea for a playlist. This probably isn’t an original idea, but I liked it. Basically, you pick an important song released in each year you’ve been alive, whether it was important to you at the time (this gets easier as you reach your teens 🤣) or one you discovered much later (particularly the childhood years when musical tastes are forming). Mine currently looks like this. https://open.qobuz.com/playlist/69880050 #songsof...

Much of my #bandcampFriday shenanigans has been thwarted by sky-high shipping costs. In most cases the shipping costs more than the CD. Sgaile pre-ordered digitally though. The Hanging Garden t-shirt will have to wait.

@alexisbushnell@toot.wales That’s weird. It could be that they compromised the account and are waiting for a reason to use it. I’d also check there’s nobody else signed into your password manager, just in case it wasn’t that they compromised. There has been a few breaches lately.

Do you reckon with the tennis, Wimbledon in particular, if the TV people replaced the video feed with Pong and kept the usual commentators that anyone would notice?
