Why isn't there a well-known file for payment info hashes so my clients can get a signed proof the bank account I ask them to pay me at is legit?

With everyone running 32 bots connected to MCPs and logged in with their own identities, Slack channel membership is fast turning into a mess as complicated as Active Directory

SiriAI is not great but people are expecting so little from it I keep hearing people say it’s great. Once you try to use it for real it’s clear it’s not “great”. For example, I have a meeting today from noon to 1pm for which a Zoom link is not in the calendar invite. SiriAI can find it in my email no problem. Tried to get it to add a new calendar invite with that link 5 different ways, it keeps trying to create an all-day meeting. Maybe a 6th time would work, it’s pretty random.

This whole story about "LG dropping McAfee on Windows computers" - yeah I don't love it from LG, but the REAL story is "Microsoft allows peripherals to download and run whatever they want" which is a MUCH bigger deal.

Food packaging should show a ratio of energy used to make the food vs the food’s energy content. For example bottled water would be infinite

Ahhh when a local store you use against all logic, to support them, even if it means overspending and waiting longer + having to drive to pick stuff up decides to ask you for a deposit for a $100 order and it means having to CALL THEM ON THE PHONE. Very easy way to convince me to order all of that online in the future. Should've looked at my order history...

The REM is a fucking piece of shit. Couldn’t use it 3 times in perfect weather without getting caught in badly reported issues. That’ll teach me to ever try to use mass transit designed to maximize profit.

On my way home after a very good IANS Forum. I wasn’t sure I’d survive 3 talks in one afternoon but the afternoon kept me alive, and so did people who showed up to my last talk instead of one on MythOS 😆

Since when do Canadian customs intercept passengers getting off the plane at the gate for passport checks and questioning? Second time it happens to me in 2026, love being stuck in the very spacious corridor for 20m.

@ngaylinn That’s a good comparison. Google Translate definitely made it easier for me to travel to countries where I can’t read anything but it won’t do anything to either help me grow or allow me to talk to more people freely
