  I’m changing the way I use Mastodon. Not that you should care. But for the curious (like, 2 of you), a 🧵: I am not new to Mastodon, and I’ve entered and exited the Fediverse at least 2x before my latest self-induced banishment. I run (read: pay for) an instance.   Yesterday at around 4p, I got the new mRNA flu shot (mFLUSIVA) and my Pfizer COVID booster. Because ‘tis the season. About an hour ago, I started getting a chill and noticed some muscle aches. All of which are common, I just didn’t experience any side-effects previously. But I’ll deal with a day of minor discomfort if it decreases my chances of getting disease that continue to kill people, because I’m not a moron. #GetVaccinated

  Just a reminder that the number of elective abortions performed in the U.S. after 21 weeks is zero. Not “effectively” zero, but zero. Zilch. Nada. 0. No medical provider in the U.S. will perform a voluntary #abortion on demand that late in a pregnancy. It. Does. Not. Happen. Period. I wish politicians would state that plainly at every opportunity.
