Popping on with my yearly feature suggestion for all the #Apple OS engineers I know are here: If I open an iMessage thread with someone and it’s their birthday (according to their contact card) remind me to text them Happy Birthday! You still have time to sneak this into 27 😉 #iOS27

@imyke @jsnell Name suggestion for the Designed in California members feed: Front Row. Nod to the media center software we all loved (we all loved it, right?!), keeps the name referential like One More Thing, implies members get a premium seat to the show with full series drops and no ads.

Can anyone trade me an Armarouge ex from Paldean Wonders in #Pokemon #TCGPocket? It’s the last card I need to complete the set! #PokemonTCGP

@marcoarment I’m screaming at my phone listening to the latest ATP about your AirPlay bugs. About a year ago, the HomePods I was using in stereo pair as my main TV speakers started having static noises any time I’d play videos at faster than 1x. AFAIK it never got fixed, to the point I sold the HomePods and switched to Sonos. I feel so vindicated knowing it’s a widespread AirPlay bug.

@overcastfm@mastodon.social Three times this morning while listening to ATP, Overcast has suddenly jumped back to the start of the episode. Is this related to the server issues last night? (On latest TestFlight build 🙂)

Why didn’t they reposition the Apple logo on the cases to match the phone? So many strange choices all over the place today. #AppleEvent

I wonder if we're going to see an aftermarket of "plugs" to fill the strap holes on Apple's iPhone cases 🤣 https://mastodon.macstories.net/@viticci/115185065339058375

RE: https://mastodon.social/@markgurman/115380685144937494 Absolutely wild the rate at which Apple is bleeding AI talent. Increasingly looks like their best (and maybe only) path to ship “LLM Siri” and other delayed AI features/hardware next year will be to power everything with Gemini or Claude as reported. It’s gonna take them so many years to catch up.
