    I am sick of &quot;Prediction Market&quot; as a moniker. It&#39;s Gambling. Gambling is the fucking word. Gambling that you can manipulate (or create) the outcome. I don&#39;t like gambling (four years of statistics will do that to a person) and I&#39;m not fond of people who gamble (lotto anyone?) ... but that &quot;Market&quot; shit is Criminal.

I was responsible for Backend Stuff and a shitload of desktops/laptops at some well known tech publication. The Laptops had 3Com Etherlink III PCMCIA cards. Users would (say) roll a pencil under-ish the laptop and lift the edge to retrieve it and *CRUNCH*. Dig out pieces w/pliers and replace. I had a standing order w/vendor: Just send two boxes of dongles/month. 3Com Megahertz adapters...

Amazon Leo, formerly known as Project Kuiper, is a mega constellation of satellites in Low Earth Orbit that will offer broadband internet access managed by Kuiper Systems LLC, a subsidiary of Amazon. This constellation is planned to be composed of 3,236 satellites. The satellites are projected to be placed in 98 orbital planes in three orbital layers, one at 590 km, 610 km, and 630 km altitude.
