I need to spend another minute putting this into words, but I am REALLY enjoying my kids turning into little adults. I know everyone has the ages of their kids that they are more or less suited to, and I kill it with babies, but these little adults are just awesome to be around

Extremely low effort from the Jackie for Ward 1 person. Didn't give me 15 seconds to open the door to tell me why I might want to vote for her

Look, Fedi, I'm a little annoyed that I had to notice on my own that it was 6/7 and not a single one of you made a terrible joke about it. What are we even doing here

I'm not going to read this guy's paper, it sounds awful, but I disagree with some points. If humanity survives long enough, we will create AGI. Consciousness is just not that complicated. But it won't be a direct descendant of an LLM https://www.404media.co/google-deepmind-paper-argues-llms-will-never-be-conscious/

I'm not saying all the people this would hurt deserve it, but the AI bubble pop SHOULD take down the entire economy. In 2008, people who should have known better (probably DID know better) made stupid bets. They got largely bailed out and it seems we learned nothing.

This is one of the worst interfaces I've ever seen. Three digits are not enough to identify an account. And because Nationwide insists that an online account be linked to a SSN, you can't have multiple accounts for multiple clients.

My father-in-law passed away earlier this month. He was a strong-willed challenging human, and I wouldn't trade his influence on my wife for anything. I'm glad he got to know my children
