@mcc@mastodon.social nice. Thanks for sharing. It might be an example of “form follows function” allowing this creative design. I’ve been looking at a lot of examples over the last year and trying to think of new applications (and how to apply it to GUI).

How do I explain that some security like multi-factor authentication isn’t worth it everywhere? “Most people don’t have MFA on their TV”? I’m not sure people asking understand things like air gaps. I know MFA is one of the few questions on cyber-insurance policies, and one of the few cybersecurity directives out of the Whitehouse a few years back. I also know how bad “something you know” is for security.

The generators are worysome though any good #datacenter has backup generators. Generators to provide regular electricity could be a problem. Does Bell Canada have a partnership with AI companies? Is this just a datacenter rebranded? Are the Epic/BellMTS datacenter (now Equinix) on Waverley and the Videon one (now Rogers) still underused? Is there a chance that the many Crypto datacenters in MB can be converted? #Winnipeg #Manitoba #MBPoli #MBPol https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/bell-ca...
